Why a website?

You might ask, "Why make your own website?" I have a couple answers. I wanted a way to publicly display my works and projects— a digital portfolio! (complete with 90s charm!!) Additionally, I'm using this as a learning tool. I plan to attend college this fall (2025!). It's going to be my freshman year, and I plan to study cinematic arts, with minors in music and IT. Computer science is a special interest and a hobby for me, so I'm using my work on this website to learn more about HTML, web dev, and program syntax in general. Thanks for visiting my little slice of cyber space!

"Mia and Sebs Theme" by Justin Hurwitz

I'm learning this piece on piano right now (not the crazy solo, just the main melody). I chose to give the piece a try because I've been feeling strangely romantic lately. I'm not in love, I just feel sappy. It's an incredibly relaxing and soothing piece which makes it especially cathartic to learn and play.
