Why a website?
You might ask, "Why make your own website?" I have a couple answers. I wanted a way to publicly display my works and projects— a digital portfolio! (complete with 90s charm!!) Additionally, I'm using this as a learning tool. I plan to attend college this fall (2025!). It's going to be my freshman year, and I plan to study cinematic arts, with minors in music and IT. Computer science is a special interest and a hobby for me, so I'm using my work on this website to learn more about HTML, web dev, and program syntax in general. Thanks for visiting my little slice of cyber space!
"Using" by Sorority Noise
Been stuck in my head all week. I went to see Origami Angel in concert this week! I saw some friends there but primarily I went alone. Rocked with a bunch of strangers in the mosh pit. One of the opening bands, Chase Petra, had us do a wall of death, which was pretty sick cause I hadn't done that since I saw Waterparks a couple years ago in Chicago. It was an outdoor concert and the heat. was. AWFUL. I had a ton of fun though. The bands went as follows: Combat, Chase Petra, Saturdays at Your Place, and Origami Angel. All in all, pretty good deal for $35. I definitely wanna go to concerts more often. All of this to say, the concert had me listening to a lot of midwest emo again, and "Using" really stuck out to me.
